Looking for easy bears to draw? This step-by-step tutorial makes bear drawing easy for kids and beginner adult drawers alike! Once you break down all the steps, learning how to draw a bear is a piece of cake. If you want to draw a bear in just a few minutes, read on!

Before we begin the bear drawing tutorial, you must ensure you have all the required basic supplies. You will need drawing pencils, a sketching pad, and an eraser. That is all! You do not need to go all out at the crafts store for your practice drawing.

How to Draw a Bear Easy and Quick

I think bears are one of the cutest animals ever! Teddy bears, cartoon bears, and real-life bears are just so adorable. The best part is that bears come in many beautiful colors, like black, brown, white, and multi-colored. While I would love to show you all the incredible bears all at once, we will use a simple brown bear for this tutorial.

To follow the drawing tutorial, please look for the blue reference lines. These lines are intended to show you which step you should be on. For example, if you look below, you notice in step two that the bear’s ears are blue. This means you should work on the bear’s ears in that particular step.

Easy Step-by-Step Bear Drawing Tutorial

Step 1: Draw the Bear Head

Let’s start by drawing the face of your cute bear!

Step 2: Draw Bear Ears

No bear drawing is complete without a pair of fluffy little ears. To draw the ears, simply draw two half circles on either side of your bear’s head. The half circles should be the same shape, one smaller and inside the other.

Step 3: Draw Some Bear Eyes

Now, we will begin drawing in the face of your bear. To draw the bear’s face, include two symmetrical eyes.

Step 4: Shade/Color in the Bear Eyes

If you are doing a bear sketch without color, you can shade in the eyes in this step. If you want to color your bear eyes a certain way, skip this step.

Step 5: Draw the Bear Nose

Next, draw a wide circle to make your bear nose.

Step 6: Shade/Color in the Bear Nose

In this step, you should shade in the bear nose you just drew.

Step 7: Draw the Bear Mouth

The last part of your bear face to draw is the mouth. You can draw a mouth by creating two half circles that connect to the bottom middle of your bear nose. The open part of the circle should face upwards.

Next, draw one more half circle at the bottom middle of the first two half circles.
