Anastasia Beverly Hills seems to never disappoint when it comes to their eye shadow palettes. As a lipstick addict, I tend to be very picky when it comes to eye shadows as I prefer to have my lips stand out. This soft glam palette, however, is starting to convert me into an eye shadow lover. Check below for my review and some swatches.
Eye Shadow Colors – Anastasia Soft Glam Palette
After hearing so much about these gorgeous colors, I had to see what the hype was all about. After making swatches on my arm, I was immediately excited to put it on for real.
Top to bottom: Noir, Cyprus Umber, Rustic, Sienna, Burnt Orange, Fairy, and Dusty Rose.
Left to right:Tempera, Glistening, Orange Soda, Rose Pink, Sultry, Bronze, and Mulberry.
My apologies that it is difficult to see Tempera. It so happens that it ended up being almost the exact same color of my skin (how embarrassing). I really need to get a tan!
Other Aspects of the Anastasia Soft Glam Palette
Texture: The texture of these eye shadows is absolutely luxurious. It feels as close as you can get powder to feel like velvet, which is something I don’t mind putting on my face at all.
Payoff: The color payoff perfectly matches the general intensity you would want from each of these colors. For example, rose pink has this vibrant but soft and opaque look once applied to my skin. It’s definitely my favorite so far!
Cruelty-Free: For those who love products that do not test on animals, you’ll be relieved to know this palette is indeed cruelty-free! : )
If you are on the hunt for your next eye shadow palette, I couldn’t recommend ABH’s Soft Glam Palette more. It is easy to use as the colors work harmoniously with one another and they are all easy to blend. I can’t wait to play with this palette some more!
