Description

These Snowman Truffles are the sweetest way to bring a little winter magic to your dessert table. Made from soft vanilla cake mixed with frosting, each truffle is dipped in smooth white chocolate and rolled in coconut for a snowy finish. Stack them up, add candy scarves, and dot on cheerful faces for a treat that’s as adorable as it is delicious. Perfect for holiday parties, gift boxes, or cozy baking days at home, these frosty little snowmen are sure to melt hearts before they melt in your mouth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Vanilla Cake Mix + Ingredients
  • ¼ cup Vanilla Frosting
  • Black Food Icing (for eyes and buttons)
  • 1 cup white chocolate melting chips
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • Sour Rope Candy

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vanilla cake mix according to the package instructions and bake in a round baking pan for 25-30 minutes. Let the cake cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl. Add ¼ cup of vanilla frosting and mix until the mixture holds together when pressed.
  3. Roll the mixture into 20 balls, forming 10 larger balls for the body and 10 smaller balls for the heads.
  4. Melt 1 cup of white chocolate melting chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  5. Dip each ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring full coverage, and place them straight into the shredded coconut. Coat them completely to act as the snowy snowmen and then place them on a parchment-lined surface.
  6. Stack one smaller ball on top of each larger ball to form snowmen using the white frosting or the black food dye gel as glue. Press gently to ensure they adhere.
  7. Wrap a piece of sour rope candy around the connection point between the head and body to create a scarf.
  8. Use black food icing in a piping bag to add eyes and buttons to each snowman.
  9. Let the snowman truffles set until the chocolate hardens, then serve and enjoy!
