We’re talking soft, chewy cake bars packed with festive Halloween Oreos, melty chocolate chips, and topped off with colorful sprinkles and candy eyes for that extra eerie touch.
Ingredients
- 1 box vanilla cake mix (around 432g / 15.25 oz)
- Ingredients as directed on the box (usually eggs and milk or water)
- 12–15 Halloween Oreos, roughly chopped
- ½ cup (90g) chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
- 2–3 tablespoons Halloween sprinkles (orange, black, purple, green)
- Candy eye decorations (as many as you like!)
Instructions
1. Preheat Oven & Prepare Pan

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).

Grease or line a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.
2. Prepare Cake Batter

In a large bowl, prepare the vanilla cake mix according to package directions (typically includes mixing with eggs and milk or water). Stir until smooth.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
3. Add the Goodies

Gently add chopped Oreos and chocolate chips on top
4. Decorate Before Baking

Sprinkle the surface with Halloween sprinkles and lightly press in the candy eyes (reserve some to add halfway through baking so they don’t sink or melt).

Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with just a few moist crumbs.

6. Cool & Cut

Let the bars cool completely in the pan (about 30 minutes).
