Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 9×13 baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, brown 2 sticks of unsalted butter and let it cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, mix the browned butter, 1 ¼ cup dark brown sugar, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 2 eggs, and ⅓ cup molasses until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon ground ginger, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, and ½ teaspoon salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and fold together until a thick dough forms.
- Stir in 1 cup butterscotch chips.
